Who Qualifies?
If you’ve never applied for one of our traditional grants, the first thing you need to know is whether you qualify. Don’t spend time applying until you are sure! Start by reviewing the guidelines below. And feel free to call us with any questions. We’d love to speak with you about your idea!
We do not fund individuals, fundraising events or religious activities.
To Qualify…
To qualify for one of our grants, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a 501(c)(3) organization
- Serve these northeast Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Grant, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells or Whitley
To Be Competitive…
To be competitive for funding, your request should:
- Align with the AWS Foundations mission and initiatives and consider our guiding principles.
- Consider innovative or new approaches that address the needs of people with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities.
- Serve a significant number of individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities.
