Fort Wayne, IN ─ AWS Foundation recently awarded $1,110,500 in grants to 11 non-profit organizations that benefit individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities in northeast Indiana. These organizations include:
A Rosie Place for Children – $25,000 to expand respite and train staff.
Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo – $700,000 (over six years) for their comprehensive accessibility improvement plan.
Image of Hope Ranch- $15,000 for strategic planning and board development.
Ivy Tech Foundation – $15,500 for exploration of a Think College postsecondary program.
Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana – $40,000 for programming for students with disabilities.
Kosciusko Parkview Community YMCA- $32,000 for education and family support.
The League – $120,000 for three years of operating support.
McMillen Health – $50,000 (over two years) for Varied Abilities Days.
OJ Neighbours Elementary School – $10,000 for sensory corners.
Windrose Urban Farms- $43,000 for replacement of cooler.
World Baseball Academy – $60,000 for three years of adaptive services.
